Ali has nearly two decades of experience in various facets of intellectual property across the Middle East and North Africa. He is responsible for implementing and advancing a strategic, integrated business development and marketing platform that drives the firm’s overall growth, enhances existing client relationships, and expands its client base.

With a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving MENA IP landscape, Ali has been recognized for his leadership in guiding marketing and business development initiatives. Prior to co-founding Diligent IP, he played a key role in a prominent IP firm.

Ali has worked with clients in a variety of industries, advising on a wide range of intellectual property matters across the MENA region, including trademark searching, clearance, filing, prosecution, litigation, and enforcement, as well as patents, designs, and domain names. He has globally and regionally managed some of the largest brands’ business portfolios, with extensive experience in assisting clients with intellectual property issues related to counseling, IP strategies, and prosecution.

Ali has also served as IP counsel for a diverse range of local businesses across the MENA region, providing support to startups and SMEs to help them grow and maximize the value of their ventures.
